People take great surprise when I say my first professional job is a research assistant position for a project on solar energy. 'What does a degree in psychology have to do with solar energy?' seems to be a puzzle. It was indeed a nerve-breaking puzzle, but I managed through it, so here are are some tips for people who may be interested in pursuing the same path.
